APEX Honour Society Welcomes Student Groups to the University of Toronto
The world today is a global village, and consequently, multilingual competency has becoming increasingly important for communication and the English language has become the universal communication tool. APEX has always been pleased to support, create and develop opportunities to sharpen the English abilities of its members. The University of Toronto English Language Program has the track record to provide superior lessons plans and the environment required for students to fully grasp the English language. Students participating in this regular school semester English program will learn from passionate and knowledgeable professors; and be able to live and social with 25,000 other University of Toronto students who are taking regular credit courses during July and August. APEX welcomes the student groups and is confident that after the program, students will be more fluent and have more confidence in their English abilities. APEX Chairman to Speak at the Arts and Letters Club of Toronto
APEX Chairman, Dr. Paul J. Perron was invited to give lectures at the Arts and Letters Club of Toronto on November 30, 2010, on the topic of Manipulation and Conversion of the Huron Nation: the Jesuit 'Relations' of 1632-1649. The Arts and Letters Club of Toronto, founded in 1908, is the oldest literary and cultural institution in English Canada. Dr. Perron has been known for his works in the areas of French literatures and has been invited to lecture widely in North America, Europe and Asia on the topics regarding New France literature, 19th and 20th century French and Québec literatures.

APEX Chairman and Delegation Visited Taiwan University and Chengchi University
APEX Chairman Paul J. Perron and delegation visited Taiwan University and Chengchi University on October 13 and October 15, 2010 respectively. Chairman Perron met with the students, discussed with university faculty and senior administrators on the success and expansions of past and current cooperation, exchanged ideas on future collaboration initiatives; as well as participated a colloquium by speaking on the topic of Description and Portraiture in Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Finn, and gave a speech to the students on How to succeed in North American education system.

APEX Chairman to visit Harbin Normal University
By invitation, APEX Chairman, Dr. Paul J. Perron will visit Harbin Normal University on September 22, 2010. This will be Chairman Perron’s first visit to Harbin Normal University. Visit will include meetings with University officials to discuss possible academic collaborations as well as a talk to its entire student body and faculty on Higher Education in North American and Internationalization of Education.
